Cotton Candy Throw Blanket

Introducing the Cotton Candy Throw Blanket, a delightful and cozy creation that seamlessly combines the warmth of a handmade blanket with the simplicity of beginner-friendly crochet stitches. This cozy blanket is not only a stylish addition to any home but also serves as the perfect project for beginner crocheters. Embracing a palette reminiscent of sweet cotton candy hues, this easy and free pattern promises a rewarding experience, making it an ideal choice for both novice and seasoned crocheters alike. The Cotton Candy Throw Blanket is the perfect blend of simplicity and comfort, leading to a beautiful blanket as the finished product!

This free crochet pattern uses a worsted weight yarn from Hobbii called Tweed Delight. I highly recommend this yarn because it’s super soft, yet durable. It’s also a heavier worsted weight yarn, so this beautiful blanket works up super quickly even though only a 5.0 mm crochet hook size is used! They’re are tons of different colors to choose from, so you can really let your creativity run wild with this free pattern!

The crochet stitches used in this blanket pattern are incredibly simple, they’re mostly just double crochet stitches! I personally love double crochet stitches because they’re very airy stitches that create a gorgeous texture in any crochet projects!

Stitch Markers

Embarking on a crochet project without stitch markers is like setting sail without a compass – you might get somewhere, but the journey is bound to be a bit chaotic! So I highly recommend you utilize stitch markers for this easy crochet top! Stitch markers will help you keep track of your progress, helping you keep track of crucial points and preventing mistakes. Check out this post on the best stitch markers for your crochet project if you’re curious about why you should use them!
